Cygil Celebrates 10th Year in Business
Founder Credits focus on clients for success

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 1, 2004) – Cygil, Inc., a trusted technology partner focused on helping manufacturing and distribution organizations increase profits through increased efficiencies, today announced they are celebrating their 10th year in business. Since 1994 the company has grown through self-funding and Cygil’s Founder and President, Steve Kottong believes a focus on clients’ needs made that possible.

“ We’re very proud to be one of a select few locally founded technology companies to remain in business for more than 10 years.” said Kottong. “I’m most proud of the people we’ve brought on board and the tremendous value and service we’re able to provide our clients. My primary goal of helping our clients utilize technology to their advantage has never changed and that remains our directive today.”

Lynn Crutchfield, COO of Acucote, one of Cygil’s first customers and still a client today is pleased to have played a role in the company’s success. “The dedication to service at Cygil is what makes it so easy to work with Steve and his team” said Crutchfield. “We started working with them more than eight years ago because of Steve’s knowledge and experience in developing custom software solutions for manufacturing facilities. We still work with them today because of the tremendous service and value they provide.” Executive Director of NBCC, Dr. Thomas W. Clawson, another long time Cygil client adds that “Cygil’s ability to tailor their services to our needs has brought us back to them again and again. We have come to trust they will give us great individual attention.”

In addition to celebrating the anniversary, Cygil recently moved into new, larger offices and now anticipates additional growth over the coming months. “The manufacturing industry is doing well and the need for businesses to streamline operations and create competitive advantages is providing us with an excellent opportunity. We needed more space and it was a nice way to celebrate our first 10 years as well,” said Kottong, adding, “We’ll continue to grow as long as our revenue sustains it. I believe in building a business the old-fashioned way and ten years from now we hope to celebrate another decade of partnership with our clients.”
